Old meets new at FHS Jan. 31
January 27, 2010 Everyone – but especially graduates and past employees of Floresville High School – is invited to attend a Gathering and Celebration for good-byes-to-the-old and hellos-to-the-new FHS! Sunday afternoon, January 31, from 2-4 p.m., the public is invited to walk down the FHS Memory Lane. We will begin with a brief welcome in the auditorium; FHS retirees and graduates will be recognized. Guided tours will be available, and there will be time to visit will friends and fellow classmates. A concluding reception will be held in the new Floresville High School building. Make plans to attend, enjoy the photo ops, be able to revel in the positive memories from your high school years – or the many years you toiled at FHS - and enjoy a tour through the new complex. Floresville High '50-plus reunion assigns class representatives
September 3, 2009 Floresville High School Class of '50, headed up by Jim Lamberth, is set for Saturday, Oct. 10, from noon until 4 pm, at the VFW Hall in Poth. This is also the date of the Floresville Peanut Festival so you can watch the parade, and then "parade" down to Poth to "Meet, Greet and Eat" with your class mates from 50 years or more past. (More)
