06-24-2010 San Antonio Tea Party – Open Meeting & 4th of July Rally - The San Antonio Tea Party will observe Independence Day together on June 27, from 3-5 PM at the Norris Conference Center, so that members are free to enjoy July 4th with their families. The Norris Conference Center is at 4522, Fredericksburg Road, in San Antonio. You are invited to join us in celebrating the founding of our republic, and to honor those who gave all in the cause of liberty. We will also be inviting attendees to sign our historic Balanced Budget Amendment Petition Banner at this rally. Voters could use a civic lesson about the constitution

(By Debbie Morgan) Most people in the united States are familiar with the Constitution, but how many of us really understand it?  Did you know it contains expressed protections for both individuals and state governments against a tyrannical, over-reaching central (Federal) government?  Don't Tread On Me, the new release by the producer/director team that brought us Camp FEMA, takes the viewer on a quest for enlightenment about the protections our Founding Fathers intended for our new country and its citizens.  It is an eye-opener that exposes the viewer to the facts about the 9th and 10th Amendments to our Constitution, why they are so important in maintaining our freedoms, and so much more.  (More)
