Texas Asphalt Limited Modified Series to debut May 18
 May 15, 2013 Corpus Christi, TX.,(May 14th’ 2013) After a year of trying to generate interest in a pavement Limited Modified series, Cody Beddoe finally has made some headway, securing tracks and sponsors. Two south-central tracks area paved tracks have agreed to each host two series point’s events during the 2013 racing season. CC Speedway, a tight, high-banked, 1Ž4 mile, bull ring, kicks of the series on May 18th. The series then travels to near Austin for its next race at Central Texas Speedway, a 3/8 mile, semi-banked, D-shaped track in Kyle on July 27th.  May 8, 2013 Marion, TX.,(May 4th, 2013) San Antonio Raceway hosted another round of IHRA Summit Racing Equipment, Super Series bracket racing. This weekend drivers were up for double points in the series for the Electronics, No-box and Jr. Dragster classes.  April 22, 2013 San Antonio, TX.,(April 20th, 2013) Saturday concluded the weekend of events for the 1st Annual North Park Toyota, Fiesta on Asphalt on the high-banked, 1Ž2 mile, speedway. The race featured the North Park Toyota Pro Late Model, Donnie Horelka Memorial 75 in honor of long-time San Antonio Speedway champion and racer, Donny Horelka who was tragically killed in an accident at his home.  April 10, 2013 Marion, TX.,(April, 7th, 2013) Following two big nights of Nitro Jam action, and one full Sportsman show, the Division 4Renegades had the day all to themselves for a second full racing program down the 1Ž4 mile. Racers from all over the southern area, faced off with many of the local San Antonio Raceway drivers for their chance to qualify for the World Finals/Tournament of Champions event held at the end of the season.  April 8, 2013 Marion, TX.,(April, 6th, 2013) After a successful opening night of action on the 1Ž4 mile track, just east of San Antonio, Nitro Jam completed its two-day show with another complete show featuring the Top Fuel Dragsters, Amsoil Prostalgia Funny Cars, Fuel Altereds, Nitro Harleys, Jet Dragsters, Funny Cars and Truck, plus “Wheelstander.” (More) Summit Super Series @ San Antonio Raceway 3/16/13
 March 18, 2013 Marion, TX.,(March 16th, 2013) San Antonio Raceway hosted round number two of their IHRA Summit Super Series points season Saturday under sunny, but windy skies.  March 4, 2013 Marion, TX.,(March, 2nd 2013) San Antonio Raceway officially kicked off its 2013 points season with the first of the Summit Super Series specials. Driver in Electronics, No-box and Jr. Dragster, were scheduled to, compete on the 1Ž4 mile this weekend. Also included was a ‘Quick 8’ race for those looking to shoot for some extra bucks.  February 18, 2013 Marion, TX.,(Feb. 15th, 2013) Friday was the official ‘kick-off’ to San Antonio Raceways 2013 racing season. With Mother Nature providing a decent forecast, drivers from across Texas came to race on the IHRA sanctioned track just east of San Antonio. (More)
