Rodriguez edges past Morones for win

FLORESVILLE -- Eric J. Rodriguez will take his place as the newest member of the Floresville City Council, after unseating incumbent Councilman Mario Morones in a close election June 26. Rodriguez received 678 votes to Morones� 650 votes, according to the unofficial results that were read just after 9:30 p.m. (More)

May 18, 2010
A recount was held for Floresville City Councilman Place 2 on May 18. Results show a tie with Mario Morones receiving 499 votes and Eric J. Rodriguez receiving 499. According to state law, a new election will be scheduled. (More)
