Political Depression: Is There No End?

November 28, 2013
I firmly believe that the majority of the voters who elected the current president thought that the country had finally left racism, bigotry, slavery, discrimination and partisanship behind.  (More)
Political Soaps: The Weather and Politics
October 11, 2012
They say that if you do not like the weather in Texas, hang around for a bit and it will change. Same as politics. If you have buyers' remorse, never fear, you can do a "re-do" on Nov. 6.  (More)
Political Soaps: Enough!

October 2, 2012
I had made up my mind that I would not Blog on this subject again because it brings out the hatefulness that is so deeply embedded in this Country and especially the ugly comments that Blogs tend to bring out in people. For me, I say it like it is and most people do not. So here I go again!  (More)
Is there any hope for America’s future?

July 21, 2012
In this day and age, the only thing children know is TV, the computer, cell phones, Texting, Email, and Movie Thrillers that promote excessive drinking, doing drugs from good ole' Hollywood that promotes the most violent movies EVER. These are "things" and they do not provide a child with compassion, love, and care and they do not show the child how to show these emotions. These are the things that are now raising our children - not the parents.  (More)

A New Year for USA

January 4, 2012
I have always looked forward to New Years’ Eve each year as it provides a chance to bury the past and start over again. As time brought us closer to the end of 2011, I made up my mind that when I went to bed on New Years’ Eve that 2012 would be a brand new year and the past would be buried. I firmly believe that this year will be a great year - of course we will have to wait until November to fully realize it.  (More)
Leadership and Morals in America
November 7, 2011
I have watched all of the Republican debates and watched Candidates flip-flop, change their strategies, and verbally attack each other. And now we have the Cain Issue. WHAT A ZOO. How has it come to this? Where are the grownups in our Nation? The American public no longer appears to really care about the important things in life, or is it the Media? They feed us with garbage. The saying is, “garbage in - garbage out!”  (More)
An Evening with Rep Cuellar

November 5, 2011
Last week, I received an invitation to take part in a telephone Town Hall with District 28 Congressional Representative Henry Cuellar. It was quite interesting and as usual, my question was not taken. This is no surprise as the Congressman knows that I do not support him in any way. When the redistricting takes effect he will have 700,000 Constituents.  (More)

How Article Search Works

The Article search engine looks for an exact match on any word(s) in the headline or the article body.

You can choose to search only articles in a specific category (e.g., Business) or All News & Blogs.

For example, if you type in the word Floresville, the search results will include Floresville City Council Agenda, Floresville City Council Special Meeting, and any other articles that have the word Floresville in either the headline or the article body.

If you search for multiple words, let’s say the words Floresville and 775, the search results will list any articles that include both Floresville AND 775 somewhere in the headline or the article body.
