I lived in Floresville during my teen years. And I was very surprised at the level of professionalism in this news letter. Great Work WCN!
I used to hang with Rita, Cindy and Gilbert Perez. A big shout out to them. I am still in NM. Three grown children and two grandchildren. I have left email contact for them or anyone to get in touch with me. |

By the way, as a former Floresville resident, I’d like to say, “Great newspaper!” I like to keep up with what’s going on back home and your paper makes it easy..
I’d also like to say hi to a few people. Robbie and Jamie Reed, Chris Seal, Jason, Arnold Schwab, Brandon Meyers, Eloy Tejeda and Troy Cox. And R.I.P. Danny “57 Heaven” and “Canary Larry.” I miss you both. |

I wanted to get a message out to the Bauer family, Richard Sr. and June and Richard Jr. and Sarah in Fair View. I just wanted to say I am sorry for not coming out for Easter. Things have been crazy since I last saw you all. I have moved to Albuquerque NM from Tulsa and took a job with the USDA Forest Service. I just want you all to know I still think about each and every one of you and miss you deeply. HAPPY EASTER!!! |

"It's A Busy World"
What was it my friend said to me
When I met him at the mall?
Why don't we have lunch sometime?
Don't forget to call!!!
But, I go to lodge on Monday night
And I get home at ten,
Then I catch the football game
So, I can't call him then.
Tuesday is my poker game
And Wednesday, The church bazaar,
I can't call him on Thursday
Because...I'll be working on the car.
Friday is gone and it's Saturday
Another busy week has passed,
So I hurry to the telephone
To call my friend at last.
A quiet voice qanswers the phone
Not my friends voice at all,
And said, your father died last night
But...thank you for your call. |

Looking for Tim H. Thomas. You left your ph.# with my brother where you knew I had grown up. With apologies, I misplaced it & can only recall it is an 830 a/c. I have recently relocated back from Arizona. Feeling blessed an old friend has made the effort to contact me, please E-Mail me if this reaches you. Blessed be one who may help get this to Timothy. |

I just wanted to say how much I like Kidz-N-Tow. When Carol took time off with her new baby I missed her. It’s fun to read about her mishaps. This week’s Mysterious Tale of a Cat’s Tail was funny. Thanks Carol |

My husband & I have driven through Wilson county many times for years, Always stopping for a meal and to enjoy the peace. Recently we built a privacy fence for a Floresville resident near the school, the school band sounded wonderful. The way school bands used to sound. We hope you will keep Floresville simple. :o) |

It is so wonderful to have a news paper that has a good distribution, yet we can still "communicate with it" and be heard. Since I consider myself "conservative" I feel "right at home". |
