This would be a great idea, since the kids are already reading the paper in the classrooms (here in Floresville) we should have a section dedicated to them. This would not only give them something to do but they can use this as positive reading materials for there daily reading logs and summaries. If we had a youth section in the newspaper it would also promote sales because they would want to encourage their parents to buy the paper. We could include the local happening for the kids, especially in the summer. Articles about positive role models and team players in the classroom and on the field/court. We have lots of sports activities for the children of Wilson County and I am sure that the children would love to see their picture in the paper for scoreing that touchdown, making a goal, shooting that three. We have tons to put in the paper to incourage other children to be the best they can be and to be good team players and a friendly peer.
