 		 I have had many open forums about the bible. Although I do not agree with Danny , his thoughts are reasonable.

When discussing certain points of the bible I have learned that many people interpret verses in their own way. The bible is beleived to be the oldest book ever written, primarily the old testament. It has been written in many counrtries and I think it is safe to say in everey language. I beleive, in my most humble opinion that Danny's information about the bible stealing ideas from mythology is twisted.

The word mythology comes from the root word myth. The term "myth" is often used colloquially to refer to a false story.

The bible tells us that all its books i.e. matthew, revelations, luke etc... are information gathered trough accounts of witnesses like the 12 apostles for example.

Through science like history and archeology it has been proven that these witnesses actually existed. Mythological stories are passed down through different cultures and I would say mythology is more hear say.

In the days before Christ people in different cultures prayed to different gods. India and Mongolia are two of the oldest cultures and practice some of the oldest religions to ever exist. Even as of today India prays to such gods as cows, rats and even deformed children born with multiple limbs. India has more religions than any other country in the world. With this being said the majority of India still has an ultimate god that supercedes the other idols they pray to.

The mythology most common to us is greek mythology. The greeks too, like the incas , aztecs and mayans had different beleifs and idols they prayed to, but ultimately had one god.

Danny's information sounds twisted to me beacause the information in the bible accounts for how we live life on earth. Even today, people share the same experiences with those talked about in the bible.. It is more likely that the information Danny has gathered was taken- copyied from the bible.

It is true what Danny says about religion being corrupt. When you think of all of the sheeps in wolf clothing like pastors stealing money or preist molesting children you cant help to think that religion is one big lie. But one must not confuse religion with the teachings of the bible. The bible was written by god(figurtively speaking)and religion was manufactured by man.

It is easier to confuse the new testament because non christian religions dont beleive Christ is the son of god, therefore you get different interpretations.

I think wa have all at one time experienced a situation in our life that is comparable to one from the bible.

Whether you beleive in god or not, the bible is clearly a blue print to life. The bible states what is good and what is bad. And gives you examples of the consequenses you face when you choose eigther of the two. In my life following the teachings in the bible to the best of my ability helps make life just a little brighter.
