 		 I think Freebase First knows waaaay too much about the cost of drugs. (Oh wow..., Like, far out, maaan)

"....(Big Pharma) who are the biggest drug producers and pushers."

Big Pharma, eh? Where did you get that term, some pro-Obama-care website? Harry Reid's last speech, perhaps? Michael Moore's last distortumentory?

Only one problem with the analogy. "Big Pharma" are legal companies, doing legal business, producing legal products which are subject to rigouous testing by the FDA and marketed through legal markets for which they spend billions, so that doctors can help ease someone's pain or cure some illness.

And yeah, they make a big profit. Next time you get an infection from a dirty needle, be thankful "Big Pharma" spent the money to develop and market the legal drugs your doctor prescribes to keep you alive. What's that worth to ya, Cheech?

"The safest and most effective pain medicines are opiates."

The safest? eh, I don't think so, Cheech. Ya see, there is this little problem with overdose and addiction. Most effective? Yeah, so is a bullet between the eyes.

Believe it or not, Cheech, some people are stupid and have no self control and actually need to be spoon fed some dangerous stuff, like, dope. Enter the trained Doctor who is supposed to be able to use opiate derivatives in a reasonably safe manner, not merely dispensed by some pimple faced soda jerk at the local burger joint or dead-head pot store in downtown Berkeley, Californica or Boston, Methed-up-chusettes.
