"Texas has received some 1,393 federal awards totaling over $9.8 billion.....generated some 40,583 full-time equivalent jobs."

That's about $241,481 per job. These must all be government jobs. Pretty good pay considering the median household income in Texas is about $50K and that represents usually more than one job per household.

Figures lie and liars figure. And idiots go around spewing them out to win elections.
