Well, I'm not falling for the "look at the birdie" maneuver. By their measure, you've never accomplished anything in your life because the government invested $$ in your education. The government did it all, you were just a tool. I don't accept that proposition and I don't even know you.

Its not an all or nothing proposition. Spending almost $300k to produce a $50k job is just bad math unless you work for the government. You're mixing good expenditures with bad ones. It is a false proposition that the choice before us is either Libertarian (cut all spending) and radical Socialism (government is your sugar daddy). There is clearly a middle ground.

What about the 500,000,000 jobs Bush likely saved or created? The 6 wars he didn't get us into? How he personally found the cure for cancer? I can pull statistics out of my butt too and don't even work for the government.
