Oh, is that all? Gee, well..heck, let's just all go for a little Asia vacation on the public dime, eh?

Something tells me Obama's little trip is going to cost a weee bit more than $50 million. Security will probably cost more due to the increased risk, as well as fuel, than it did in 1998 when Bubba took his trip. Plus, the actual trip includes prep costs to arrange for the security and the fuel. The flight of just Air Force One to India will cost $1.3 million. Considering that if one flies, they both fly so double that cost, plus he will likely have his helicopters. That's where the navy comes in. You don't tuck those babies in your carry-on. You will need a transport plane or several, to haul all the armored vehicles to carry his huge, emerial entourage. The advance preparations alone are surely in the neighborhood of 50 million. And here I thought we were $13 Trillion in debt?

Now, even if this trip was critical to the interests of the country, which it clearly is not, the cost will be enormous. Maybe not as much as has been speculated, but we know the cost to move and protect the President is enormous and considering how much he spent on travel trying to get his crooked cronies and minions elected, this trip is a slap in the face of every US tax payer.
