As far as I'm concerned, the Church is a little too late to speak out. Had all Catholics voted for pro-life officials that are currently (and in the past) hold office in D.C., we may not have to be marching and/or sending red envelopes (totally ineffective) to D.C. I was very offended to see a "Vote for Obama" bumper sticker in the Church parking lot before Mass.
