I've often thought that the political season, from start to elections, should be strictly controlled and restricted to about a 3 month period. As soon as the 2010 elections were over, aggressivie politiicians were already out raising, funds, and getting ready for the 2012 elections...that's totally ridiculous. When do elected official have time to do their appointed jobs? Seems like they spend about 90% of their time trying to get re-elected. Either term limitations or, restrictions on time alloted to campaigning should be strictly enforced..
