Here's a tip I use to wrap outside pipes: Save used paper towels (I suppose any time of crumpled paper will work)and place in a plastic trash bag, roll it up and wrap with masking tape to retain round shape...then simply wrap around the pipes, wrap until it is pretty snug and then wrap masking tape around it to secure it in place. I have done this for 2 or 3 years in a row without any problems...a cheap and convenient way to wrap to those pipes
