Given that we had a decline in GDP in the third/fourth quarters of 2007, and we have averaged 2.7% growth since the early 70's - the economy is doing quite well since Obama took over at 3% growth.

And we added jobs for the past several months. Compared to a loss of 750k jobs the month before Obama was sworn in.

The US is in recovery. Indisputably.
