As a moderate Republican, I have never understood the Republican Party's distaste for our new national health care. My brother lost his job in 08. Because he has considerable skills, he quickly found another one, but with a new insurance company that ruled that his 9 year old daughter had a preexisting condition of leukemia, and denied coverage. My brother, and widower, declared bankrupt trying to save that pretty little child, but he could never afford the expensive treatment required to save her life. We buried that sweet little child on her 11th birthday. Now, would someone from the Republican party tell me why that should have happened in America?
