I don't understand the TEA party crowd. One of my college classmates is a farmer near Lubbock, and he bragged at an alumni meeting recently that his 2010 US farm subside checks were nearly $800,000...and he is one of his county's leaders in the TEA Party. That is $800,000 of our tax money in his pocket, and the TEA Party crowd screams cut taxes and are willing to reduce our nation's schools to the level of those in Mexico. Go figure???
