No, Alvin Charmaine, I DON'T think the extension made sense! You sound a bit like Nancy Pelosi and her "Pass the bill before you read it." There is STILL a problem with funding NPR and Planned Parenthood. NPR is a left wing government supported radio station that could just as well be funded by George Soros rather than our tax dollars. I also do NOT want my tax dollars to fund Planned Parenthoods abortion as a form of birth control (97% of their business is abortions). So rushing to a compromise was NOT what we voted these new folks in for. Anything you rush into "compromising" in is never as good as taking your time and have a meeting of the minds, AND the people that they represent.
