As of midnight May 5, the still-unidentified victim was discovered to be alive and well. According to Detective Chad Clark of the Floresville Police Department, the victim awoke in a muddy area along the river bank and was unsure how he had gotten there. He managed to find his way to F.M. 536, which he walked along until reaching a family member's home in Floresville. The family member then called police.

Clark said the victim has no recollection of falling into the river.

"I'm glad that he was found alive and well," Clark said.

We intend to update this story as more details are made available.
