The county judge's declaration is only effective through June 16, at which time the governor is asked to extend the ban "until the drought conditions no longer exist." Until the governor weighs in on this, an outright ban on the sale or use of fireworks in Wilson County only exists until June 16. We will keep our communities informed as this situation develops.
