Obviously the composer of this article is one of those far left liberal wingnuts that will distort, tell half truth/lies, leave out vital information, lie, or just plainly twist the facts:

1) "experienced very slow income and employment growth"......Not true! From the inception of the BTC in 2002 through 2007 the unemployment rate was hovering around 5% and several million jobs were created and this was after 911 and Katrina. Then the housing/banking crisis hit in 2007/08 and caused the loss of a lot of jobs that had nothing to do with the tax cuts.
2) "the median weekly earnings of working Americans actually fell by 2.3% from the end of the 2000 – 01 recession to the onset of the Great Recession."
So what? You cn't get much of a true picture by using 'median' income figures...All that indicates the exact Middle point where half make less and half make more...it could be that the half that made more made a whole lot more and the number that made less made just a marginal amount less. There's a whole lot of ways to analyze that information...it is not so simple as this simpleton makes it to be.
3) "The vast bulk of the reduced taxes were reaped by a very small number of families"....Could it be that the vast amount of the taxes paid is by a very small number of families? (the top 5% of tax payers pay a huge percentage of the taxes)

And, I could go on and on and on taking apart the faulty reasoning of the author of this piece of trash!
