Any idea how many non-citizen illegals those clinics serve? Probably a lot and probably against the law to ask. I agree that spending cuts should be across the board and not aimed at a particular region. Of course the reason for the budget cutbacks is overspending. Although not limited to the Democratic party it is most prevalent there. Perhaps some thought should be given to the fact that a great majority of Demo votes in Texas come from that area. Sometime you reap what you sow. A cruel but accurate statement. Government cuts are painful. Especially when social program spending is out of control, just ask the people of Greece. Every dollar spent on non-citizen illegals is a dollar taken from a citizen. You can't support spending programs that allow illegals and gripe because there is not enough money for citizens. Without all the dollars spent on non-citizens there might be enough to care for citizens.
