 		 What a bunch of ol' community sore-heads. You fill this column with negative comments and making accusations for which there is no proof. Nepotism? Maybe you should read the law for it, for the most part, addresses only blood kin and a few direct in-law situations. It is not against the law to hire a friend, or do you want a staff filled with enemies. It is not again the law to hire a husband and wife, indeed it makes good sense if both are good teachers. As far salaries, the top administrators have BS/BA degrees, Masters degrees, and many college hours above the Masters degree. Do you really expect them to work for minimum wages. As for the accusation that FISD has too many administrators, what do you base that on? Have you ever operated a school? As for the good ol' boy system, that is a natural occurrence for a town this size. It would be impossible for the School Board to hire a hometown person and not know them. How many board meetings did any of you attend during the past 12 months? None?? Then how do you really know what is going on. If you think every thing is so wrong with FISD, why don't you run for the school board? I thought Dr. Vinson and Ken Barber did a heck of a job in leading our school system, and I know that our new supt and the senior level staff will continue to make good things happen for the students at FISD...in spite of a dozen old sore-heads who don't do anything but complain.
