Help Wanted

The Floresville Independent School District is accepting applications for Grounds Maintenance Worker. Terms of employment: 260 days, 5 days per week, 8-hour workday per year; hours may be modified based on changes in mission requirements. Primary purpose: To help maintain the physical school plant in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of it may be made at all times. Education/Certification: License requirements, Texas Motor Vehicle Operators License, Structural Pest Control Board Technician Pesticide License. Special Knowledge/Skills: 1. Good knowledge of the operation, trouble shooting, repair and maintenance of ground maintenance equipment. 2. Must demonstrate good mathematical calculation skills and reading comprehension skills. 3. Good knowledge of safety precautions to avoid injury to himself and other. Full Charge Bookkeeper Position - for local La Vernia company. Accounts payables/receivables. Process cash receipts. Monthly bank reconciliations, general journal entries and financial reports. Knowledge of Peachtree/Sage 50 and previous experience in a wholesale bakery environment preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required as well as GAAP. BHObama, If that was your attempt at humor, you best keep your day job. What you wrote was crude and insulting to the people of Millsap and all small towns. If you hate Floresville so much, why do you even bother to write in the blog? I too grew up in a town a tenth of the size of Floresville, and I could live anywhere in the US, but I choose Floresville If you think small towns are so bad, consider this fact: According the the Texas Education agency. the group of Texas school districts that have the most exemplary schools are the districts with only one high school and that have less than 1000 students enrolled. As for me being a liberal, you don't know what I am. All I have learned from your writing is that my IQ has many more digits than yours.
