 		 ??? OAD you really don't have a clue do you.

1) This is the local newspaper, not an anonymous blog column. This process is the LAW here. The law doesnt say you have to have a town-hall, it says you post the finalist and recieve feedback- this is feedback. If the board reads the feedback, they ultimately can decide if they've received any information that might alter their decision... simple process. No town halls- just comments and feedback.

2) there is no accused, this is a job/hiring process that the man applied for. Your consitutional rights/face accuser thing is ridiculous- this is a job interview, he can withdraw whenever he wants.

3) There isnt anything anonymous about him having raised taxes and spent more then the per capita average in texas. These are facts.

So stop desperately reaching for every imagineable distraction to stop this vetting process and disenfracnhising the community from having their rightful input. Here, in the newspaper, where the board is reading, and the Super is able to speak whenever he wants. You sound like someone trying to ram something down our throats- sounds like the typical MO to slip something past the public (like Obamacare).
