I have been watching this banter for a week or so before sharing what i know to be the truth. with all due respect OAD, Alvin appears to be the voice of reason here and you seem to just want to argue. My taxes ARE significantly higher because of this man's agenda. You referred to me as angry, you are absolutely right, i am angry along with scores of other people. As if being angry over this issue is unjustified?? Perhaps you are OAD and dont have the school taxes that most of the rest of us are paying?? Dr. Hunkapiller may indeed be a nice man, but just because he can talk a good game does not mean that he can manage money. i believe that Alvin is just trying to make people aware of the right (and duty) as citizens and tax payers to ask the hard questions. OAD, you say that he is a coward, i don't see the super. asking to come speak to your town BEFORE Aug 1. He built a football stadium and a new elementary building, i know for a fact these HUGE expenses did nothing to make our children any smarter or better prepared for life. he spent our money and now is running out to make himself more money and is leaving us paying the debt.
