Hey everyone, maybe we would have better, high performing schools if parents would send a smarted, more dedicated, well behaved student to the school in the first place. News this week on Netscape was that 70% of all Texas high school graduates had been suspended or threatened with expulsion between their 6th grade and graduation. That is pathetic! So instead of blaming the supt, the teachers, the school board, and ta rates,...maybe parents should look in the mirror.

All three of my children graduated with honors from high school and with honors from college, and not a single one of them ever faced expulsion or suspension. Apparently 70% of Texas parents can't say that. I wonder what that suspension rate is in Millsap? What about Floresville? Are today's parents sending to our school kids that are so out of control that they can't be effectively educated?
