The City of Falls City is taking applications for the City Clerk position. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, have experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Word and Excel. Alvin, do the math. With all of the new homes in north Wilson County, FISD is probably growing 200 students per year. In three years that will amount to 600 students, which equates to the size of an average elementary. Where is FISD going to put those children? Have school under a shade tree? If my numbers are correct, I agree with you. Of course there will be a bond election to provide space for the growth.

You remind me of my old cousin who used to live at Boerne. To the day he died, he never understood why the Boerne school district needed all of those new school buildings and raised his taxes. He conveniently overlooked the fact that BISD's student population doubled, and that now BISD has need of two high school to manage the growth.

The trouble with you is that you don't want to pay taxes for anything, regardless how great the need.
