Millsap Mom, I agree with your quote: "money does not equal education; so why spend it beyond what is absolutely needed." Who decides how much is absolutely needed? The good people of Millsap. They approved a bond issue for a new stadium and school building, they approved a TRE, and in a month or so the trustees will set a tax rate to generate revenue that is "absolutely needed" to operate the district.

Your are just mad and throwing out irrational accusations. A huge majority of the MISD students can write and spell because they passes the state mandated test. And no, school finance is not a flawed system and it isn't run by a bunch of crooks. Just because you don't like what they do, does not mean they are crooks. School district financial books are audited every year by an independent CPA firm, and those firms are required by law to report any wrong doing to the authorities. Your Madam are a liar!
