Maybe all federal offices should close 30 minutes earlier. That's a great idea, to save money in a tough economy. Multiply that times the tens on thousands of federal offices, and now we are looking at innovative ways to make cuts. Aside from super busy metropolitan offices,,offices in smaller communtities (for example, Seguin), aren't all that busy anyway. USPS is reconfiguring services to fewer days a week, because technology doesn't dictate a need for frequency services. SSA has gone digital too, reducing the need for offices open as long as they are. Cut 30 minutes a day, and fewer people lose their jobs.

This is not a bad thing, folks.
