The Marcelina Muse Dry Tank, TX July 29, 2011 10:41am	Sound economic policies are very difficult to get passed because in almost all cases the short term effect is very painful. As long as the majority of our politicians work for the short term good feeling of the voters and getting reelected, no substaintial progress on this economic mess will happen. Most all Republicans and certainly the leadership of the Republican party lack the testicular fortitude to propose and support the required cuts in current spending and getting some sort of sane spending limits imposed on the federal government that is needed. The entire leadership of the Republican party needs to be replaced with real conservatives who place the welfare of this Country ahead of their party and ahead of their reelection.
