The 81st & 218th Judicial District Community Supervision and Corrections Department (Adult Probation) is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Supervision Officer for ATASCOSA COUNTY. Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree recognized by the Texas Higher Education Coordination Board in Criminology, Corrections, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement/Police Science, Counseling, Pre-Law, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services Development, Public Administration, or a related field that has been approved by the Community Justice Assistance Division (CJAD), or one year of graduate study in one of the above mentioned fields, or one year experience in full-time casework, counseling, or community or group work that has been approved by CJAD.  This position requires some evening and/or weekend work. Salary: Negotiable, plus Regular State benefits. Relax Henry, you old "blue dog" you. As you well know a "deal" has been reached. So you can stop your Demo party line fear mongering. You failed to tell us in your missive aimed at scaring the old, the unemployed and others, exactly how much the treasury gets per month in tax payments didn't you. That is not part of your scare tactic is it. There is plenty to pay the interest and the social security payments, isn't there. Like $200 billion per month. If you are really concerned about those poor people you listed in your threat why don't you lead the way in demanding spending cuts. And Hank, I mean real spending cuts. You know, or perhaps you don't, that means spend less next year than you did this year. I will wait with bated breath for your next communication outlining your proposed real spending cut plan.
