"Rock N"...But, what if the President gets elected for another 4 year term...that would mean that we would have an illegal, devisive, unfair policy in place for about 5 years...Do you know how much damage something like this can have in 5 years?....that's similar to being waterboarded when the President says that waterboarding is ok, then the Pres gets re elected and the waterboarding continues for 5 more years. (By the way, I support waterboarding and the results it gets).

It is just plain wrong for a President to be in a position to hand out government projects to contractors that only support his party philosophically and financially. Why should bad behavior and policies go forward for years? And, given Obama's Chicago polical background and his track record so far in office, you can bet some really good contractors will not get government jobs simply based on their record of donating to Republican or conservative candidates and not based on their qualifications and bid amounts.

Even Presidents should not be above suspicion and bad behavior.
