I was once a Democrat and a little left of center, but over the years I've become more conservative and Republican....growing up and maturing tends to make one more conservative...I'm assuming that is what happened to Gov Perry.

When I was a kid, Texas was a very strong Democrat State, and now it's Republican.

I certainly don't hold that against Gov Perry that he was once a Democrat and Supported Al Gore...everyone has a right to go through a process where opinions and loyalties change.

I believe Gov Perry has been good for Texas and I like most of his programs and agendas. I'll be supporting Gov Perry unless Sarah Pallin jumps into the race.
