I would bet that most of the mayor's cheerleaders at the meeting are getting something "free" (meaning with our tax money) such as free lunch, food stamps, medicaid, paycheck from a government entity (if working), etc. So, yes, a sports complex sounds great - they aren't worried about the money - it's "free" money to them. This has got to stop!! Tax paying citizens working hard to survive are tired of the handouts no matter what form it takes. We are going to take this country back!
