We spent last night listening to the all too frequent sounds of screeching tires, sirens and high speed chase we've grown acclimated to hearing in Floresville. Meth labs. Homelessness. Domestic violence. But our elected officials think we really NEED a huge sports complex.

For the first time ever, we are locking our doors. Thanks guys. Hope YOUR kids are scared too. My kids' rooms were lit up with red and blue lights. I hope YOUR kids felt the same fear mine did last night. But you're cutting line items for necessities such as public works and police protection in favor of travel to San Antonio for political events and legacy projects. I had to drive a young homeless man to San Antonio so he could get the help he needed because y'all have your priorities wrong. Someone who grew up here, graduated from school here. And can't get his life in order here. You default on the money you owe the ISD, then are appalling that the citizens are not in your court for ridiculous bond obligations?

Wake up, ya Jackwagons. Floresville is on fire while you wonder what's for dessert.
