Nobody is d**ing the police, in fact quite the opposite. Had council allocated their slush fund to police protection, things like this could be avoided. Read the post again. Just like a rash of....ten. burglaries in the same neighborhood lately, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. The money spent on bond proposals could be allocated to more important things, like saving lives, instead of king club rooms, drinking and partying, and baseball fields not even meant for our school kids
