Great job Mr. Miller!
This is what you get when you have uneducated people in the positions they are in. Our Financial Director was corrected by a representative from the State Comptroller's office, she should know all these laws back and forth and inside and out, BUT WAIT-she has a HS diploma-FISD doesn't teach CPA talk!!! Only a registered, certified CPA would know what in the world they were doing. Also the "Liason", come on--both of these workers need to google or bing research before they open their mouths! Neither one knows what their job truly entails and the City Manager too.
I really hope the Comptroller's office is looking into the budget mess. If that meeting wasn't proof enough for the representative from the Comptroller's office to raise 1 red flag and come in and do some "exploring", then nothing will be enough and this will continue.
Mr. Miller thanks for staying on top of this. When the Mayor and other Council folk know they are wrong and will get caught eventually, they get huffy as the Mayor frequently does up on his "throne". It'll all soon be over. The wrath will come...
