I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that, perhaps, this blog forum is not as widely read by WCN readers as the actual paper itself. If these blogs could be reproduced in the newspaper itself, I believe a more satisfactory and appropriate response from the citizens would be forthcoming. Surely, city council and staff excepted, voting citizens can't be so ignorant as to not want what's in the best interests for their city. While the blogs serve an important role, the bloggers continue to be the same interested parties with the list of parties never really growing, i.e., same old names. There is no way to know how many non-bloggers actually read these blogs. So, how to increase this awareness and how to get more people to attend city hall meetings?
