Based on my reading of the report I'd say that Merrick & Company did a good job, and that their efforts and recommendations are reasonable and dependable. They rightly alerted Wilson County to consider "at what cost" that remedial efforts should be carried out to save this historic courthouse. The cost for this type of remedial effort can easily exceed the cost of a new replacement. A hard decision (either way) is just ahead.
