 		 Thank you One Voice! The bank info was sent for a forensic audit Friday. it will take at least 2 weeks we are told. We have been in contact with Local Law Enforcement and have been assured that our identities will be confidential for fear of retaliation. One has already been visited by a board member and threatened with a law suit. A year ago, we would have been scared to death, now we have had it. i read an article from July 2010 regarding the purchase of land from the Director of Finance and people were saying the exact thing one year ago regarding bad business practices. We have created a Facebook page, it's under Jane Addams, we wrote all of the news outlets this question... Will the __________ news be at the School Board Meeting at the Primary Monday, October 17th at 6:30? Sure hope so, with all of the turmoil the district has been in apparently with a drug arrest, suicide, conflict of interest regarding land purchases, forensic audit, horrible TAKS scores, secrecy, freezes, no money for classrooms, questionable practices by the Superintendent and School Board and now a criminal investigation under way, we sure hope that this is newsworthy and you will be reporting this story to the community. Also, a facebook page has been created under Jane Addams. We have received 110 emails of support and frustration of the district in the past 12 hours. We understand that employees can't friend us, again because of retaliation, but we are getting the message and it's very clear. Our district lacks TRANSPARENCY and TRUST. This isn't an attack by any means, but we need to change our standard operating procedures.
