Totally get what you are saying, many people went to the Board Meeting, but all business is done in executive meeting, so for many we have heard, it just seems to be a waste of time. They don't seem to want community input. No one learned anything except thankfully got confirmation that transparency is a problem within that district. Also, if it weren't for the questions that citizens had, how would an employee request open records requests without being either questioned or retaliated against? if an employee felt intimidated to go to Administration and has no way to reach the Board, what option does an employee have but to 1) beg for help from a community member 2) Go to the Police 3) Go to the press. A lot of what is happening could have been avoided had the employees had somewhere they felt safe to go. Also, a question that has been asked over and over again... Does Dr. Harvey go into those executive meetings and does the board ever meet without him. Also, we would still like information on how to contact school board members. Also, a letter was sent home to the parents from Doctor Harvey regarding the investigation, but no one, not one person as of October 19th has addressed the staff and even told THEM there was an investigation, what to say to our kids, what to say to parents. Again!!! The only source of information the staff has is the Wilson County News, Examiner and Kens 5. THANK YOU SO MUCH Wilson County News for keeping us in the loop and we thank you for your trust and confidence. Again, do you understand the problem with trust here?
