Wilson County / LaVernia corrupt?? does that suprise anyone? we have none that for years, it was just something that no one wanted to talk about - no one wanted to make waves, in most cases it who you know or who you are related to, we have had four children graduate from here and still have two in school, i have seen how things work here, on another note but not related to the school issues, even the justice system here is corrupt, we know that from first hand experience having lost a son to a " repeat dwi offender", this offender from what he states had a family member that was employed by the justice system here, the offender only recieved " shock probation " for taking a life and having repeated alcoholand motor vehicle offences, i heard somewhere that this school teacher at the junior high had connections also, what was her sentence?? this county needs to clean up and get rid of the trash, we left a big city to move to small country town in order to get away from the corruption.
