Jim I agree with your comments, however until the people of Floresville, get off thier tails and show up in force, the mayor and his gang of relatives council members are going to push thru anything they want. Im not sure why more people dont get involved? Is it because they dont really know or care what goes on, or is it because they are related to these folks as well. Do these people understand the debt the mayor and the city has because of the community center and now they want to spend more??? This I really dont understand. I wish well in your bid to rid this town of the good ole boy network. This town needs new blood, ut unfortuneately not enough people in this town care the way you do. I wish you luck in ridding Floresville, of the crooks running it, from the mayor to the city manager. I mean come on, you lose your job as a peace officer and get a promotion to become the city manager, tell me that doesnt smell fishy. The city manager is responsible for the finances in Floresville, and he hasnt shown that he has the education or the know how to run the city. Once again the good ole boy network brings him in to run the city. If this guy were doing a good job, I wouldnt care what he did in the past, but he doesnt know how to run a city.
