This has been a witch hunt from the begining...I have read and researched the issues that have been talked about for the last few month and I can tell you one thing for sure...The people who are behind this issue are not looking for the 'real' answer...as they have been given it over and over...they rant about how they are not being given the information...yet...they post different or 'new' numbers almost weekely...how many of you 'concerned citizens' have walked into City Hall and asked to be shown the reports and audits that Jim Miller and Will Gibbs continue to write about...I can imagine that not many of you have...this all seems very personal to me...the Comptrollers Office has cleared the City...from what i've seen the DA has also not 'taken' the case...yet the County Attorney...in a County that needs to be watching thier money because they have a Historic Court House that is falling down...has taken a case out against the City Manager...you can't tell me that this is not political...guess it's time to 'read between the lines' and ask for WHO is really responsible for all this mess...maybe it's time to add up all the legal fees, employee time and Auditors fees and see how much the City has Lost in this battle...I would imagine it could be used for much more constructive issues....just thinking...
