" Do you really think there isn't anyone in America who doesn't know that ..."

Well, apparently, there are way too many who don't. They either don't know it or won't be persuaded with even the best logic and evidence. It makes absolutely no sense to be defending Europe any longer. They can defend themselves and we sure can't keep propping up their economies with US dollars we borrow from China. The trouble is, we've already spent the money to build those bases, so it makes little sense to close them now and just give them away.

In 2010, we spent more on social security than we did on defense. So...which expenditure does the Constitution actually authorize?

But, no matter how you slice the pie, the biggest cut to spending will happen in Nov. 2012 when Obama, the Spender In Chief is voted out.
