I first met him in 1999. I was his monitor on his Rt. 7 bus. He would talk about his route area and pointed out his childhood home. He said he never needed a monitor until the kids through rocks up to the front. I witnessed a fight on his bus - a fight that he broke up! He stood up between two big boys and pushed them apart. He is amazing. He was so nice and such an interesting person to talk with. I was not at his funeral, but I thought of him that day.
