So let me get this straight...

We live in the state that has the worst record on medical insurance coverage, the highest type two diabetes rates next to Mississippi, and we also come in the top 2 for teen pregnancy.

But the notion of a health care program that eliminates the for-profit insurance thieves is somehow bad?

The US has some the highest health care costs in the world, and the worst coverage. Yet the rest of civilized world has a single-payer system and a lower infant mortality and longer lifespans.

We already have socialized medicine....it's called Medicare/Medicaid. And since the for-profit insurance companies are driving costs up exponentially, doctors can no longer afford to accept new Medicare (or Tricare) patients.

Well done goobers....keep voting against your own self-interest.
