Rock'n chair Rambler
Over Taxed, TX
December 14, 2011 3:55pm
"I have been a Republican all of 35 years of my adult life, "......."That idiot Bush/Chaney combo "
Now THAT is puzzling. A republican all your life and yet you hate Bush and Chaney. Hmmmm.....
"fought two wars on the credit card "
It was one war fought on multiple fronts. Kinda like WWII. Not 2 wars. Same war, different locations.
Name one war that was not fought on a credit card. In fact, name anything the government has done in the last 50 years that was not paid for at least partially with credit and printing money. Our bankrupt government borrows 40 cents of every dollar the corrupt Congress spends.
How much did your Democrat Presidents spend in Vietnam? Was that war fought on credit? Was it any more a good investment of lives and treasure than Iraq? How about Korea? Good war? Lybia? Was it money well spent on credit to turn yet another country into a little Iran?
It's morons like you that keep voting for these lying SOBs that are the problem. You believe their lies and ask for more and more government and they just happily give it to you. Then, they tell you more lies about how they're going to pay for it. Just tax the rich a little bit more. Yeah, hell, they can affor it, right? They have made enough, like Obama says, right?
It seems you think the only vice is greed. How about envy? And what about your sense of fairness? Is it fair to tax one person more than another? Should one person pay more for a product than another? Why should one person pay more for government than another?
It's not the tax rate that is the problem, honey, it's the spending. It's kinda like putting a big fat lady on a horse and then trying to solve the weight issue by cutting down on the saddle weight. You can only cut it down so much until it no longer will support the weight of the fat rider. The horse starts bucking and the fat lady goes flyin' into the mud.
Now, wouldn't it be smarter to just trim the fat off the rider instead? She'd be healtier and the horse happier.
